While an alien version of D.Va would be strange to introduce during most Overwatch events, it could make for a fun random addition in something like the Anniversary event. It would also be a good fit for next year’s Halloween Terror, as the spooky season has already seen D.Va transforming from a cheerful gamer into a nine-tailed fox. With the Shin-Ryeong skin being one of the most popular looks for the character, perhaps another big appearance change would be a hit as well.

The latest Overwatch skin concept comes courtesy of Reddit user CornyLope, and when fans first see it, they will likely be stunned by just how many adjustments have been made to D.Va’s appearance. For starters, the hero’s long brown hair has been swapped for a much shorter hairdo. The color has also been changed, with this take on D.Va sporting some dark blue hair locks neon green highlights on the end. She also has a pair of green antennae and glasses with interesting rims, with the shape of the lenses giving the illusion of more alien-like eyes.

D.Va’s bodysuit gets a redesign as well, with the hero donning an outfit that looks a bit more durable. The area on her stomach is black with green lines, while a pink texture covers other parts of the suit. The popular Tank hero also boasts light purple, blue, and green as accent colors on the outfit. Her gun maintains the special color scheme, though it also gets a makeover that makes it wider and more blaster-like. A final touch sees an alien keychain dangling from the grip.

However, the true star of the show is D.Va’s mech. The top potion of it is exactly what players would expect from a UFO, with a visible green cockpit that would allow players to see the alien version of D.Va. CornyLope gets extremely creative with the bottom half of the design, though, as the mech’s legs and body are those of a cow. Aside from a nod to cows being abducted by extraterrestrials, this allows the top portion of the mech to maintain a flying saucer look. While utters and leather-covered cannons are certainly odd, they work well with what the artist was trying to accomplish.

While it remains to be seen if D.Va fans will ever get an official design that resembles this one, it is clear that many appreciate CornyLope’s work. With nearly 7,000 upvotes and plenty of positive comments, it seems like many gamers would love to take control of Alien Abduction D.Va.

Overwatch is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
