Wrecking Ball is another tank-style option for Overwatch players and this one has some pretty exciting abilities to explore. Obviously rolling is going to play a major factor, but the furry fighter also brings a grappling claw, mines, and some scary quad cannons to the party.
Here’s a look at Wrecking Ball’s abilities and their descriptions…
QUAD CANNONS
Automatic assault weapons.
ROLL
Transform into a ball and increase maximum movement speed.
GRAPPLING CLAW
Launch a grappling claw to rapidly swing around the area. Enables high speed collisions to damage and knockback enemies.
MINEFIELD
Deploy a massive field of proximity mines.
ADAPTIVE SHIELD
Create temporary personal shields. Amount increases with more enemies nearby.
PILEDRIVER
Slam into the ground below to damage and launch enemies upward.
Wrecking Ball’s combination of tinkering and bruiser-style tanking should make the hero a very interesting addition to the roster. The creature is the sixth tank hero in the game’s lineup and should offer players to string together distributive abilities while rolling around the map recklessly.
There isn’t currently a release date for Wrecking Ball, but based on the launch of previous hero’s, fans should expect the character to officially arrive in the game in the very near future.
