The three skins were first shown off in a video put together by Overwatch’s Korean team. The video reveals one of Brigitte’s first new skins since the character was introduced in 2018.

Orisa is another character who has been somewhat neglected when it comes to new skins. However, the tank-class hero will be getting her due when the Lunar New Year event kicks off.

And finally, Tracer is getting an epic-tier skin as part of the Lunar New Year 2019 event in Overwatch. Tracer’s skin is called Hong Gildong Tracer, and the description of it on Twitter hints at Capture the Flag coming back in a big way during the event. Previously, Blizzard teased as much with Reinhardt’s epic skin reveal.

As previously stated, these three new Lunar New Year 2019 skins were originally shown as part of a video put together by the Korean Overwatch team. However, Overwatch’s official social media refrained from revealing the Brigitte or Orisa skins, which could be an indication that they aren’t epic-tier like the other ones that will be available. However, that’s just speculation at this time.

So far the Lunar New Year 2019 skins seem to be impressing Overwatch fans. A lot of praise has been directed at the Lu Bu Reaper skin in particular, though all of the new skins seem to have inspired plenty of fan art from Overwatch’s dedicated community of players.

Some Overwatch players may be less concerned with new skins and more interested in any changes that may come to Capture the Flag, or other bonuses the Lunar New Year event will bring. Luckily the wait for Overwatch’s first big event of 2019 is nearly over, and fans will be able to see what it’s all about starting January 24.

Overwatch is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
