Prior to the big ESPN leak, some of the biggest Overwatch 2 leaks came courtesy of Twitter user Metro_OW, who has posted accurate Overwatch leaks in the past. In a Blizzard dev livestream discussing Sojourn’s design, some insight into the studio’s plans for the character was revealed. Art director Dion Rogers explained that Blizzard “juggled” with its plans to launch Sojourn. Dressed entirely in pink, these Soldiers stay anonymous by wearing three different masks. The shapes made it clear what their rank is, with circles, triangles, and squares used to establish each Soldier’s position. After a couple of hours with the game, you begin to notice that Blizzard has done such a good job at building Overwatch’s universe that everything somehow makes sense within its confines. It’s a universe where a time-travelling young woman, cyborgs, a genius gorillas, and resurrecting the dead can all co-exist without asking you to unreasonably suspend your disbelief. Digging beyond that and you soon realize that beneath the shooting, the super-intelligent animals, and the anthropomorphic robots, lies a well-fleshed out narrative and universe that’s slowly unfolding before your eyes....
