The Komi Can’t Communicate anime adaptation follows the manga quite closely, as many scenes are instantly recognizable; as if plucked straight out of the pages. Komi’s adventures have followed a relatively similar storyline so far, with the anime taking liberty in rearranging some sequences of events. However, regardless of how well the Anime resembles the Manga, fans of the television series have missed out on some crucial points discussed in the original illustrated story....

Many Overwatch 2 fans expressed disappointment regarding the Battle For Olympus event, claiming that it required extreme amounts of grinding on a single arcade mode. The annual Overwatch Halloween Terror event began with the original game in 2016 and brought with it a host of seasonal skins as well as other creepy cosmetics. It also presented fans with a new game mode, Junkenstein’s Revenge. Previously, Blizzard announced that the event would be making its return this year from October 25 to November 8, and would be bringing players a new spin on the existing Junkenstein Halloween mode, called Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride, featuring an appropriately-dressed Sombra in the leading role....

The free-to-play follow-up to Blizzard’s hit 2016 hero shooter Overwatch, Overwatch 2 features the return of the first game’s lineup of playable characters alongside some new additions to the roster. With new maps and tweaks to the series’ gameplay, including a controversial switch to 5v5 matches, Overwatch 2 is Blizzard’s attempt at keeping the franchise competitive in an era increasingly dominated by F2P titles. The multiplayer portion of the game was released in October, with an Overwatch 2 PVE mode set to launch in 2023....

However, while Overwatch 2 PvE seems poised to deliver from a gameplay perspective, it will be just as important for Blizzard to provide an engaging narrative. Fans have been waiting for Overwatch to get a proper story mode since the first game released back in 2016, with many falling in love with its cast of characters. With years worth of lore helping to define their relationships, the sequel needs to explore those bonds and develop the cast in some significant ways....

There are five new legendary skins and three new epic skins that are available in loot boxes as part of the Overwatch Halloween event for 2019. For legendary skins, Overwatch players can unlock Pharaoh Ana, Warlock Ashe, Demon Orisa, Will-o-Wisp Tracer, and Scorpion Widowmaker. The new epic-tier Overwatch Halloween skins, meanwhile, are Inferno Junkrat, Vampire Baptiste, and Gorgon Lucio. McCree’s ultimate and the rest of his kit can seem at odds with each other, as most of McCree’s other moves besides Deadeye require quick reflexes and good timing. McCree is often placed in the same group as Genji and Ana in terms of skill required to play well, and though he isn’t the hardest character in Overwatch to play, he certainly isn’t the easiest. McCree’s ultimate isn’t as strong as it was when Overwatch launched, but with the right setup, he can still catch players off guard....

Inspired by a custom SourceMod game mode in Team Fortress 2 called “TF2Ware,” Bonkorn’s mod adds 48 simple five-second objectives for players to complete in a custom arena like what fans of titles such as Game & Wario would expect: Moving to specific locations, dodging certain attacks, using emotes, and so on. There are also 12 boss stages that take place after every five microgames to award extra points, and after two complete matches one of seven “special modes” activate to add an overarching challenge such as increasing everyone’s movement speed....

We spoke to Overwatch assistant art director Arnold Tsang at the Toronto Fan Expo, and he was able to reveal one more interesting tidbit of information about Bastion. It’s something that gamers might have a hard time picturing: Arnold also revealed that Bastion briefly had a front-facing shield, though this was removed in the prototype stages of his development. The 1000HP shield protected his front-facing armaments, though he only had a 60 degrees of rotation when he was in his shielded mode....

Considering that World of Warcraft has already referenced the iconic Overwatch turret-maker Torbjorn, it makes sense that the hero shooter’s developers would return the favor in some way. World of Warcraft’s Easter egg sees two characters going by the names King Tor and King Bjorn, with the duo standing together in the Hall of Valor. Obviously, putting these two names together creates Torbjorn, making for a funny reference to the heroic engineer....

According to the game’s subreddit, Blizzard is imposing a 75% penalty to earned XP for any players that repeatedly leave games in Overwatch’s competitive mode. What’s more, the company threatens to implement suspensions from the ranked game mode for increasing periods of time, up to a full season’s length. This means that players who feel the need to leave early on too many occasions could be banned for up to 3 months total, though presumably it will take more than a handful of early departures to warrant that level of ban....

For those unfamiliar with Dan Bull, Overwatch isn’t the first video game that he’s covered with his songwriting abilities. In the past, the UK rapper penned an extremely popular tune about Bethesda’s critically-acclaimed The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, and even showed some love to another game published by the Maryland-based studio by rapping about the Arkane Studios-developed stealth-action title Dishonored. As seen in Dan Bull’s video below for Overwatch, not only are his verses chock full of a marvelous wordplay, cheeky turns of phrase, and an impeccably dexterous flow that can stop on a dime and change direction at a moment’s notice, but also the music itself is wonderful, with a chorus that’s absolutely on point....

The Overwatch Summer Games 2021 start date is Tuesday, July 20, and it will run until August 10. The event will include new skins for a variety of characters, with Blizzard confirming a Mermaid skin for Damage hero Symmetra, a skin for Ashe that turns her signature rifle into a water gun, and a skin for Mei that makes her look like a 50s-era waitress. These three skins may be the main ones for this iteration of Summer Games, but there will likely be other new skins for Overwatch fans to unlock as well....
