James and Jennifer Crumbley were reportedly labeled as “fugitives” by county officials after they left Oxford. Police had been attempting to arrest the pair on involuntary manslaughter charges after their son, 15-year-old Ethan Crumbley, allegedly killed four students during a mass shooting. Oakland County prosecutor Karen McDonald announced the charges and issued a fugitive warrant for the pair, but the Crumbley’s lawyers insisted that they weren’t on the run, despite not having actually talked to them....

Authorities twice cited Hairston during the offseason while driving a rental vehicle linked to a felon, raising the possibility of an improper benefits violation. The school hasn't specified McDonald's issue, though UNC had to send a letter this summer ordering a company that makes designer mouth guards to stop using McDonald on a website promoting its brand. McDonald had made at least one social media post last year about wearing one of the company's mouth guards....

According to UNC athletic director Bubba Cunningham, Hairston is expected to play for the Heels this season. "Yes, but not all the games," Cunningham said at a retreat for the university's journalism faculty. Cunningham's comment was relayed by UNC professor Andy Bechtel through his Twitter account, @andybechtel. Hairston has been stopped by police three times since May for various violations. He was arrested on marijuana charges and driving without a license in early June; those charges were dismissed after Hairston completed a drug assessment and provided a valid license....

Roberto Escobar claims Musk’s “Not-a-Flamethrower,” a novelty device using a small propane tank and trigger mechanism to project burning fuel, is cribbed from Escobar’s own design. In January 2018, Musk’s the Boring Company announced the odd gadget, whose name is the result of customs regulations against transporting flamethrowers. Escobar, 72, alleges Musk stole his concept for the flamethrower after one of Musk’s engineers visited the Escobar compound in summer 2017....

Florida State, Oregon, Alabama, Oklahoma and Auburn comprised Nos. 1-5, respectively, with first-place votes going to the Seminoles (37), Ducks (17), Tide (1), Sooners (2) and No. 6 Texas A&M (3). As the title implies, Pac-Man 99 is the latest installment in Nintendo’s growing battle royale library. While it’s difficult to hold any of the Pac-Man World games to the same pedigree as a Mario platformer, the Pac-Man World trilogy has a generally positive reputation among those who have played them. Overwatch 2 experienced some downtime during the October 7 maintenance as Blizzard implemented more game fixes, but Error LC-208 is still affecting players according to the Blizzard support website’s latest bug report. Error LC-208 is one of the most viewed topics at Blizzard’s support website since many are still unable to connect to Overwatch 2 game servers. It appears that the latest round of maintenance did not solve the issue, and Blizzard is working on a fix for Error LC-208 in Overwatch 2....

On Twitter, Overwatch League team Vancouver Titans said that “Overwatch 2 is coming out this year” and asked its followers what about the game they are most excited for. The tweet, which has now been deleted, seems to confirm that the Overwatch 2 release date is 2020, and while Blizzard hasn’t confirmed that the game will be out this year, it is believable that a professional Overwatch team in a league that is run by the developer would know when the game is going to be released....

The piece of art features a large number of characters that never made it into Overwatch, or more specifically, characters that were later redesigned or chopped to pieces to create fully fleshed-out characters. It just so happens that one of the characters appears to be a precursor to the one now without a name....

YouTube channel hey olly has uploaded a video of themselves making Bastion out of cucumbers. The title of the video is “2020 Overwatch First New Skin plz,” and it’s hard to deny that Cucumber Bastion would make a pretty interesting skin for the character. Whether or not Blizzard ever actually adds Cucumber Bastion to Overwatch is another matter entirely, but it’s unlikely since it originated as a fan creation....
