In Push, the teams try to get a robot to push an object to their objective before the opposing team. It will be a standard 6v6 mode, and it will be incorporated into Quick Play, Competitive, and the Overwatch League moving forward. There will be some maps that will be built with Push in mind, with one of the first ones being the new Toronto map, which was also leaked ahead of time....
Ramattra was first revealed to be the next hero character in Overwatch 2 during the Grand Finals of the Overwatch League early last month. His reveal was accompanied by the Omnic tank hero’s origin story, later followed by a trailer revealing his powerful ability kit. Ramattra is to be the first “tempo tank” character in Overwatch 2, featuring 2 different forms - Omnic Form and Nemesis Form. While his Omnic Form sees him wielding the Void Accelerator staff which can fire projectile streams and create barriers on the map, his massive Nemesis Form allows him to take heaps of additional damage and deal powerful blows with his fists instead of a staff....
With only nine alternate outfits currently available, including the controversial Witch Kiriko skin, her collection is a far cry from the 20-plus skins of many characters, and the whopping 26 in Genji’s closet. Though this is certainly to be expected for a new character, it’s left a gap that the community has been filling with some inspired work. One artist has done so by using some official art and creating two understated, but excellent, Kiriko skin concepts....
With Ramattra and the new Shambali map now out, Overwatch 2 fans are already looking toward the future at what Blizzard could be bringing to the game next. One discussion has led fans to look back to the announcement trailer for Overwatch 2 which was revealed during BlizzCon 2019 for a map that was previously teased. The Magnetic Grenade replaces the Flashbang mentioned above as part of Cassidy’s kit in Overwatch 2. While it cannot stun opponents like the previous ability, it does something arguably just as good. This grenade can be thrown short distances toward enemies, and if it connects, it can cause 131 damage to a target, making it quite powerful in the hands of a skilled player. Support is one of three roles that players choose in Overwatch 2, with their duty usually being healing or boosting the abilities of their teammates. These characters, compared to the other roles, are not designed to deal or take as much damage, though they all have their own offensive abilities. However, some players still utilize some of these characters to inflict damage, such as Overwatch 2 support character Moira often being used to attack the enemy team rather than heal teammates....
However, despite expectations being speculative at best, some recent leaks — particularly from streamer Metro — and circulating theories lean toward an early 2021 release date. Again, like Tracer, the Mei Nendoroid comes with two interchangeable face plates, open and closed hands, multiple points of articulation, as well as some attachable pieces and parts that will help fans replicate her various in-game abilities in Overwatch, such as firing the ice stream. Not to mention, as seen in one of the images in the gallery below, even the drone on her back can be detached, and it even comes with its own separate stand....
Lunar New Year is one of the biggest events of the year for Overwatch, with the game getting festive skins and new game modes every January. Last year’s Year of the Ox event saw the popular hero shooter add new skins like a bull-themed look for Orisa, while a variant of the Lijiang Tower map was playable. With 2022’s Lunar New Year only nine days away, Blizzard has officially revealed the start date for 2022’s Year of the Tiger event....
Cloud9 streamer Aspen, best known for her Overwatch streams, recently claimed on a stream that Ellie isn’t real. “The whole situation was meant to be in a way like a social experiment. Ellie is actually Punisher and he told me yesterday. So, there you go,” Aspen said. Punisher, for the uninitiated, is one individual who was accused of being Ellie in disguise. There was an attempt to dispel these rumors by hosting a livestream where Ellie and Punisher were both present, but some still weren’t buying it....
While not all changes are welcome when an update drops, the continual updates are made in an effort to keep players interested, so when Blizzard decides to change Moira’s main abilities, it can upset fans, but it has to be accepted that this can happen. Sometimes updates are in response to fan outcry, and other times an update drops to shake up ’the meta’ of the game, getting players to try new strategies....

For this particular project, they wanted to use a mix of traditional forging techniques and modern fabrication to get the feel of an advanced weapon of the near future. As seen in the screenshot below taken from a Twitch livestream celebrating StarCraft’s 20th anniversary, Overwatch fans will be able to get their hands on a Widowmaker skin designed after StarCraft’s psychic terran female known as Sarah Louise Kerrigan. According to a post on the official StarCraft website, Overwatch players who log in between March 6 and April 3 will receive the Sarah Kerrigan Ghost skin for Widowmaker. For the uninitiated, the new skin coming to Overwatch for Widowmaker is based on Kerrigan before she transformed into the Queen of Blades, which is essentially the Zerg Queen and leader of the Swarm in StarCraft....
Pretty soon, even the most casual Overwatch players will have a benefit headed there way, too. In the latest developer update for Blizzard’s insanely popular multiplayer game, Blizzard vice president Jeff Kaplan addressed one of the longest standing issues players have had with Overwatch’s rewards system - loot boxes. Kaplan had this to say on the matter: Those unfamiliar with Overwatch’s loot box system will be forgiven for not understanding just how dramatic this change really is - loot boxes are the easiest way players can acquire new skins for their favorite characters, but the process is random....
Though these systems are still very new, Overwatch will already be making some important changes to these systems starting next week. The developers say they’ll be basing these updates on feedback from fans and the community, similar to what got them started on fixing the Play of the Game issue. Past Overwatch events have had players watch Twitch streams in exchange for exclusive cosmetic rewards, so it wouldn’t be surprising for the Mardis Gras event to do so as well. If the Overwatch Mardi Gras event is anything like past limited-time events, it will likely also feature content that players can only unlock in-game. Usually players are tasked with winning a certain number of matches to win some rewards, oftentimes culminating in an event-exclusive skin....
The below video shows almost 6 minutes of the gameplay for this hypothetical video game, including two action-packed battles between Reinhardt and Zarya and Doomfist and Genji, as well as fully functional character selection and map selection screens. The video also pays homage to Street Fighter with a bonus stage where Doomfist has to beat up a motorbike for points and players can have a go at getting a high score....
The trailer begins by highlighting a new emote for the Overwatch mascot Tracer, and it sees the hero wearing the large dragon head seen in a previous highlight intro. Doing the same dance as she does in her Play of the Game video, the cute emote should quickly become a fan favorite for those that main the hero. A highlight intro for Symmetra is also shown, which sees her creating an Ox with her hard-light technology — sending it off into the sky afterwards....
Out of the three roles, the support role is picked the least by far. This is evident in the short cue times in normal and ranked play, and the fact that not many players immediately go support in quick-play classic. Support roles are usually picked last in order to fill out the team roster. There are many reasons why supports are the least-picked hero role in Overwatch, but most of these revolve around the notion that playing the support role is not very hero-like....
